Yield: 4-1/2 Cups

1 Cup (200 g) Dried Soy Beans

1 Tablespoon Sugar (Optional) 

3-1/2 Cups (840 ml) Water


(1) Clean dried soy beans and soak in water for 4 to 8 hours. Steam for about 15 minutes

(2) Drain soy beans and let cool. Measure 1-1/2 cups (258 g) cooked beans

(3) Place cooked beans, sugar and water into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid

(4) Select Purée Program

(5) Switch machine to Start and allow machine to complete programmed cycle

(6) To obtain commercial-style soy milk, strain the milk through a nut milk bag or pass through a fine-mesh sieve
